The Catholic Apostolic Church in North America's (CACINA's) Praying and Sharing Group continues to meet via Zoom during the pandemic.
The members of the College of Bishops of the Catholic Apostolic Church in North America have signed the Christian Statement on Science for Pandemic Times by the BioLogos Foundation as a supporting church body.
On May 28, 2020, the College of Bishops of the Catholic Apolstolic Church in North America released the following pastoral message in response to the incidents Recent incidents in Minneapolis, MN and Brunswick, GA, where two black men were brutally murdered, one due to excessive force by a policeman and the other gunned down by two white vigilantes.
CACINA welcomes those women and men who perceive in their hearts and minds a vocation to serve the people of God through ministry as a priest or deacon.
CACINA believes each person is beloved and created in the image of God, without exception.
CACINA places high value upon gender equality, diversity of peoples, and inclusion of all in the ministries of the church.
CACINA believes the Gospel calls for a commitment to social justice and action to serve the poor.
CACINA is a welcoming Church preaching the Gospel of LOVE of both neighbor and ourselves.
CACINA respects Catholic tradition in liturgy and spirituality, we worship in community with Eucharist as our centering prayer and other communal devotions while encouraging the spiritual growth and commitment to the Body of Christ.
CACINA believes in shared governance among laity and clergy in our discernment and in our leadership.
